Tips

Enable YouTube Kids profile.

YouTube Kids allows parents to create up to eight separate profiles for kids in their household. Each profile has a separate set of viewing preferences and recommendations customized by the parents' settings. Parents can adjust the settings and parental controls after signing in to the YouTube Kids app.

It's all up to you in supervised accounts.

Consider the customized viewing preference too or less strict? You can actually decide what the kids can view and what not by yourself. Signing in with a Google Account allows parents to grant kids access to YouTube Kids and supervise their streaming. Enable the feature under Parent Settings in your linked parent account's YouTube settings.

Set a timer for your kids.

Worrying about your kids watching videos for too long? The built-in timer allows parents to limit screen time. It will tell kids when it's time to stop watching by displaying a friendly alert and shutting the app down when the session is over.
