Nest lock allows you to assign passcodes to people you trust in the Nest app instead of sharing keys. With Home/Away Assist and Auto-Lock, your door can lock itself when you leave. And of course, you will get an alert when someone locks or unlocks the door.

FAQ

Will the app continue to work if the power or network goes offline?

This system requires dependable WiFi. If the WiFi goes offline, the system will STILL FUNCTION but you WONT be able to control it from your smartphone. Once the WiFi is back online, the thermostat will automatically resume its previous settings.
